The 2005 Hike Against Hunger is the project of Erica Zelfand and Timothy Crespi, who are thru-hiking the 2,174 mile long Appalachian Trail, which runs from Georgia to Maine along the East Coast of the United States.
Hike Against Hunger strives to send aid to people suffering from hunger, including those affected by the tsunami of December 2004. Hike Against Hunger is a way to turn the 1-day Walk for Hunger fundraiser into a five-month long project that cannot succeed without the generosity of compassionate people like you - people who agree that world hunger should not exist. Hunger claims 30 million victims each year, and it’s time to make a change.
